Hi friends,

I feel like today is the first day that I have breathed easy in a while. See, this mothering and worrying stuff is a racket. And with four kids, well…there is always someone to worry about.

There is always someone who is sick. There is always a hockey practice, a jersey to be washed. Dishes to be done. Something to be cleaned. Spelling words to study. Reading to be logged.

And honestly, I rarely slow down. I rarely stop and enjoy what’s happening in my life.

But life is better right now.

We finally figured out Cooper’s school issues. He started at his new school on Monday and went for four days with no phone calls to pick him up or notes home about how terrible he is. And we caught an infection that he had, one that he didn’t complain about. It could have been very serious, but it wasn’t. Thankfully.
